On August 15 of each year, in Gutturu Flumini, the solemn procession on the sea takes place with the simulacrum of the Assumption of our Lady St. Mary. The faithful accompany the simulacrum on foot along the shore and then embrace the Blessed Virgin on the beach under the church.
